Lessons from the Light By George Anderson
and Andrew Barone
here Typically, when I read, I do so rather quickly. It’s always been that way. With this book I tried my hardest to slow myself down and absorb the messages that were being given to me, not only from the author’s experience but from departed souls as well. I felt as though George Anderson was speaking directly to me in a manner that was incredibly clear and concise, a gift that is not unfortunately bestowed on most of us. It has been said that those who understand something thoroughly will make the explanation simple, and of course the reverse is also very true. This book is simple, yet very powerful in describing the amazing life of one of the world’s greatest mediums, the incredible gift he has for giving simply astounding readings, and the wisdom he has gained over a forty year span of doing readings. There are numerous readings in their full context as well as the backgrounds that precipitated the readings and the aftermath. Very helpful indeed. Having the background information and the lengthy readings, word for word, makes the reader feel as though they were a witness to something extraordinary, as though they were a voyeur in the same room as the person being given a reading. Lessons from the Light delves into topics such as suicide, death of a partner, death of pets, murder, and coping with grief. I would highly recommend this book as it is for those of us who are grieving, as well as those of us who are open to the possibility of communicating with our loved ones, and those of us who simply want to learn about how to live, by focusing on death. It’s sort of a reverse process, but it works, at least for me.
